What is FitDistrict? FitDistrict is an empowering community here to help us conquer our everyday fitness, eating, and overall wellbeing goals. What we feed our bodies, how we move it, and being part of a like-minded community are mission-critical in achieving what we want in life. FitDistrict values experience, energy, excitement, empowerment, and elevation. Come sweat + eat just as you are. Our unique concept consists of an Interval studio, a heated Yoga studio, an Indoor Cycling studio, and the delicious and nutritious Energy Cafe All Under One Roof!
How do I reserve a class? Once you find the class on our schedule that you want to attend, you can set up an account with us in a variety of ways in order to reserve your class. Accounts can be set up and classes reserved through the website, on the mobile app, over the phone, or in person at Studios. The Interval and Cycling Studios require that you choose and reserve a specific spot in the class. In the Yoga Studio, you are not required to book a specific spot in class for your mat; however, we suggest reserving the class so you are guaranteed a spot.
When can I sign up for classes? Classes can be reserved three weeks in advance up until the start time of class.
How are FitDistrict classes different from other boutique studios? Not only are we different because of the variety of fitness studios, classes, and food all under one roof; we have also paid close attention to the micro-details that make up an extraordinary total body + mindset experience. The expert instructors guide a specific process to get you the results you want, powerful energy, heart-pumping music, (FD Blue) lighting, and a community of our empowered FitFam coming together as one just as we are to sweat it out.
How do drop-ins work? If this is your first class with us (welcome!!!): When you arrive at the Studios, come see us at the front desk and the team will help you set up an account, sign the necessary forms, and get you sweating! We suggest arriving about 20 minutes early for this process! You can also book your drop-in online, over the phone, or on the mobile app. If you have been to FitDistrict before (welcome back!!!): When you arrive at the Studios, visit a greeter with an iPad or the front desk and they can look up your account and book your class! You can also book your drop-in online, over the phone, or on the mobile app.
I haven’t worked out in a while. What if I can’t do everything in class? FitDistrict welcomes ALL levels of fitness! Everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace. Our knowledgeable instructors will guide this process during class and can provide you with any modifications needed. We are all here to sweat it out together no matter where we are in our Fitness journey. FitDistrict Golden Rule: Have a whole lotta Fun while doing it! In the Yoga Studio, we offer three different class formats, and we encourage taking our Level 1 Flow class for foundational purposes prior to taking our Level 2 Flow and Yoga Flex.
I have issues with (part of the body). Can I still do the workout? Absolutely! Our instructors are trained to provide modifications in every studio. Definitely go with your gut and know your limits. (Side note)…In the Interval Studio, we offer bikes and ellipticals for a low-impact cardio workout as an alternative to the treadmills.
How early should I arrive for my first FitDistrict class? It depends! If you have already created an account, reserved the class, and have the necessary workout gear, feel free to stroll in a few minutes (5!) before the class begins. Just leave time to check in with our supportive guest services team and to lock up your belongings in a locker. If you have not made an account or reserved a class, you should arrive about 20 minutes before your class begins. Visit us at the front desk when you arrive to Studios, and we will support you in creating your account and getting you on your way to work-in it out. **The only way to guarantee a place in class is to reserve it beforehand. Walk-ins are welcome and appreciated; however, we cannot guarantee your spot in class if the class is fully booked. If you wish to discuss the various membership packages, please schedule a time to come in a bit earlier to chat with one of our friendly guest services team members.
What do I need to bring with me for a workout? Yoga Studio: Wear your fav yoga gear ideal for getting sweaty. We turn up the heat in more ways than one…literally by adding heat to the room to enhance the yogic benefits and physically through breath and movement. Also, bring your yoga mat or rent it from us for $2. Interval Studio: Your fav workout shoes and clothes that are ideal when you are gleaming with sweat and burning calories from the cardio and strength journey you are about to go on. Cycling Studio: Indoor cycling shoes with the Look Delta clip (bring your own or rent from us for $3), and your fav workout clothes ideal for Riding to the Rhythm while getting sweaty on the bike (think pedal-friendly clothes… more form-fitting on the bottom or shorts).
In the Interval Studio, do I have to reserve a cardio AND strength station? No… You only reserve the spot where you want to begin your workout, either Cardio or Strength. From there you will move between Cardio and Strength for a Total Body Cardio and Strength workout
How old do you have to be to work out at FitDistrict? Minors who are at least 13 years of age, and submitted a Minor Waiver Form that was signed by a parent or guardian in person may work out at FitDistrict. As a reminder, a minor who wants to participate in the Rhythm Ride Studio (cycling) must be at least 4’11 (so you can reach the pedals).
What is the class cancellation policy? We completely understand how crazy life can be and we all need a little flexibility. We ask that if you are not able to make your reserved class, you cancel at least 3 hours before the start time. Anything canceled less than 3 hours before class starts is considered a late cancel. This means that monthly membership owners will incur a small fee and freedom pack owners will forfeit that class. If you miss class and forget to cancel completely (no-show), this applies as well.
What if I am late for class? We want to be completely transparent with you…a lot goes on during those final few minutes before class begins which is why you must arrive 5 minutes before the start time. We want to make sure everyone is checked in and situated in class and that our waitlist is accommodated. Once the class starts, after about 5-10 minutes, your spot may be given away.
What is the membership cancellation policy? Recurring month-to-month memberships can be canceled at any time with no extra fees. We require a 10 (ten) day notice to guarantee cancellation that following month. The lump sum packages (1 year and 3 years) cannot be canceled within the paid-for period. It is a one-time purchase for that amount of time and cannot be stopped earlier. Freedom packs (a purchase of x number of classes) are non-refundable.
What is the waitlist policy? Our awesome classes may be completely booked (especially at prime workout times of the day), in this situation, you can add yourself to the waitlist. As people cancel, you will be automatically added to the class in the order you signed up and you will be notified by email and text message. If it is really close to the class start time and you are still on the waitlist, there is still a possibility that you can get in if someone arrives late.
Do you have Yoga mats? We do offer a one-time use rental mat for $2. The mat can either be rented in person upon arrival or you can use the “add-on” feature in your account before you arrive and we will have it ready for you at the front desk.
Do I need to rent or bring my own cycling shoes? If you bring your own shoes, make sure they have a Look Delta clip. We also offer a one-time use rental for $3. The cycling shoes can be rented in person upon arrival or you can use the “add-on” feature in your account before you arrive and we will have them ready for you to Click in and Ride.
Do I need to bring water and/or a towel? We have a filtered water station near the front desk that you can use for fill-ups. We also have water bottles for purchase that can be bought upon arrival in person or purchased as an “add-on” in your account. It is extremely important to stay hydrated!! We offer large towels to rent for $1 for showering or studio use (towels are included in the Warrior All Access membership). We also provide complimentary small towels for all three studios.
Do you have parking? Street parking is available around the Studios and Cafe. We are also located directly across from the Courthouse Metro.
